Due to a completely new design we have been able to reduce the total weight of the set (one pair front, + one pair rear) of ROADIES F1 tires down to 1650g.
This was done without loosing the well known strength of our rims at all.
The rubber was not changed as our Pro compound is he most successful one since 2010 on national and international races.
ROADIES 2012 Tires offer more steering, less tire wear in front, less stress for the clutch and more constant grip during long runs (no more under steer when rear tires build up too much grip). In the end the tire is simply faster than it even was in 2011

After spending an excellent years racing in 2011 with the team. i have decided to do it yet again in 2012.For some reason i thought our fortnight at the worlds we could have learnt some very useful tips. well i did the minute i arrived at woodys house he greeted me with a nice cup of tea. As most who know woody, he is a very early riser. We arrived at the docks only about 4 hrs before our ferry, with a loaded van and what seemed like a very long caravan our trip to Brest was well underway. The trip didnt take long despite the 700km journey. I didnt realise the French people took so many pictures. many flashes of me Woody and Ben as we drove along the carriageway (they must have thought we were famous).about 20 km from the track woody seemed to think we had gone the wrong way.suddenly the van jumped a level crossing, he said "no we are going the right way i remember that from last time". At the track it didnt take woody long to have the full British team putting up his caravan awning (later to be my bedroom).For some bizarre reason woody thought it good to be first in the pits every morning. i dont mean by 5 or 10 mins. even on practice days he was there about 3-4 hours before anyone.What a guy.Woody soon fell into the foreign language by adding the letter O and A to most English words. We even went to the bank to transfer some euros, woody thought it strange why they didnt understand "youa changa readys for euros".these were just the tips of what was a very enjoyable week. not forgetting Ben who had in my opinion one of the best drives of his life only for another racer taking him out, this spoilt what would have been a very credible result. I personally would like to thank both Ben and Woody for the best race fortnight you could ever have within our sport.
